John Bukowski was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He learned his values and work ethic from his parents and he enjoyed the community he grew up in. He studied and became a licensed veterinarian for a few years. He then went back to school and became a medical research writer and really enjoyed it. He has been writing short stories and thriller novels in draft form for decades now. The result of his efforts produced his first two novels, Project Suicide and Check Out Time.
